Our Ambassadors

Spreading the message all over the globe

We are laying the foundations for the future of work by connecting high-skilled remote professionals with fast-growing companies. Flexpat is a movement of people who want to live, work, and learn on their own terms. Flexpats (short for: flexible expats) typically work from their dream destinations or home. Our ambassadors share the vision that talents come to their full potential when they are empowered to work remotely. Now they help to spread the word!

Every human being is living their life, a life full of endless potential and a unique promise for the world. I believe that everyone is looking for realization. I think freelance work enables people to realize this promise because it positively enhances their career and personal lives. It opens the mind to new ways of doing things. The location-independent movement that Flexpat created removes the obligation of making choices between work and daily life. You can spend your mornings cycling through a forest, you can choose to join a sushi course or spend time with your children when they need you. It is all up to you: your rules of managing time. Whatever matters most to you, it all leads to sustainable happiness.

I believe that our lives are changing extremely fast. The traditional office work is under attack and with remote working the future is already here. For me working remotely means freedom, flexibility and mobility, values that rule the 21st century. I believe that today's world is borderless, and those who dare to work remotely and enjoy travelling have the chance to experience those hidden segments of our world, that others would’ve never been able to do.

Antonio

I am Antonio, and travel is my passion. My philosophy is "always leave a place better than you found it." For this reason, I created www.themillion.me to share my travel experiences and collect money to improve the local communities I visit. I am proud to be a Flexpat ambassador, since I believe together we can allow people to explore this wonderful world while working or without having to quit their job.

Peter

I launched my first startup ten years ago in India. My 5-year-old daughter doesn’t have a concept of ‘home’ as we started traveling earlier than she could remember. That might sound horrible to some (Hi, mom!), but that’s how I am - constantly on the move, looking for new challenges and experience. I realized that akin to birds, some of us are not meant to be caged - roaming free is part of what makes us productive and happy. I joined Flexpat because I believe in its mission: building a thriving tribe of like-minded, location-independent people.

Flexpat’s futuristic vision of making remote work a regular lifestyle is an inspiring force to work for. I believe in it more than pushing the boundaries of an office space, this movement’s major significance and challenge lies in turning an unconventional idea into a mainstream lifestyle. I can think of so many everyday concepts in our lives that were once considered highly unconventional. It takes a powerful movement to break into the beliefs of a society and shake it from within. I hope Flexpat grows to be such a remarkable movement.

Anna

I’m Anna Maria. I’m an English teacher, writer, photographer and nomad. After having trotted across five continents and fifteen countries, I’ve learned that there’s not just one way to live, there are many in fact. Flexpat allows professionals, creatives and beating hearts to choose the way they want to live and work. Flexpat understands that people need to travel, move and explore. People need fulfilling experiences in their lives in order for them to produce meaningful work. Freedom breeds ambition and creativity. I’m excited to be an Ambassador for Flexpat and help the movement unfold.

Bob

Having experienced working remotely first-hand while completing my Master's degree in Strategic Management, I am totally convinced by the unexplored potential of flexible work. Being an eclectic guy, I enjoy music, photography, basketball, motorcycles, cooking, fashion and building relationships. I joined the Flexpat movement because I believe in the vision of the company.

Gustavs

I am someone who wants to combine new ideas with logical metrics. Always thinking of something unconventional -- until now I have created a non-profit, worked in a couple of tech startups, and got a cum laude bachelor’s degree in a year and a half. I think that in the next couple of years technology will enable “flexpansion”. I love building ideas into big companies -- and doing it remotely!

Joanna

I am passionate about science and business development and bring to the flexpat movement the perspective of a modern scientist and a corporate employee. Having moved five times during the last five years, I have experienced a wide range of expat struggles. As an ambassador at Flexpat, I am actively trying to solve these struggles and prove that living a dream lifestyle is possible. Outside work, you can find me climbing Belgian and German hills with my mountain bike or learning how to ride a 'real' motorcycle.

Leon

I love being part of the Flexpat movement as the majority of the workplace will be going to freelancers in the coming years. I love being able to share the message of living your life now, while acquiring a skill set not worrying about the mundane rat race. The ability to work while traveling for a wedding, or being able to witness the birth of a child or attending a funeral of a family member are intense and once-in-a-lifetime events. I need to be there, to not only connect but maintain the ability to stay present.

Jay

Being a part of the Flexpat community is an opportunity for me to see and eat the world on MY terms! Typical desk jobs are becoming obsolete as the new wave of ‘cool kids’ set out to follow their dreams and Flexpat is spearheading this movement to make this dream of working hard anywhere a reality for folks like me. I take my freedom and independence seriously, so being able to live a life where there’s balance between my work/home is key. As a culinary consultant and spice hunter, my career relies heavily on my ability to travel the world, and joining the Flexpat community is a major stepping stone towards my success, affording me the opportunity to continue growing.

I come from New York City, USA, but currently live a nomadic lifestyle. At the moment I temporarily reside in Hanoi, Vietnam. I'm a writer, traveler, photographer, dreamer and hopeless romantic. I joined Flexpat because I share the same philosophy towards work, life and travel as the Flexpat team. I want to help inspire others to live life on their own terms and travel more while maintaining a consistent source of income. I am super stoked to be a part of the Flexpat movement and want to get others involved as well.
